Description

A new play by Romulus Linney based on the Ernest J. Gaines novel of the same name. Set in Louisiana during the 1940's. The story of two black men who are trapped by racial injustice. One man is waiting to die by the electric chair for a crime that he did not commit. The other is a teacher who is asked to help the condemned inmate die with dignity.
